This workshop is delivered by Bill Shepherd who is a production editor at The Guardian and The Observer newspapers. He is a member of the National Union of Journalists and a member of the Guild of Television Cameramen.

How can you construct the most effective narrative from your raw material? What should you be concentrating on when building your story?
We will look at theoretical approaches and how to apply practical tips and tricks. We’ll also analyse scenes from documentaries, films and news pieces to illustrate effective and stale storytelling.
