Yet, it is the same UN that would be happy to mobilise soldiers into the fray when the situation might have gone beyond redemption. A stitch in time, they always say, saves nine.
Mugabe and his footsoldiers are aware that their tactics-recount when the results have not been made known, arrests and detention of innocent MDC supporters etc. just don’t add up and that they can only stay on by force. They have since lost the confidence, trust and goodwill of the people.
Perhaps, they need a superior force to drive they away since their time has since lapsed. The more the stay in office the more disastrous it is for the average Zimbabwean.
