Grab the inside scoop as red-top renegade Rich Peppiatt delivers a merciless dissection of his former trade, testing the public’s right to know to its side-splitting extremity.

Following his sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and London’s Soho Theatre, Peppiatt is taking his controversial assault on the Street of Shame’s finest out on tour – taking on the tabloid bully boys themselves and leaving the likes of Kelvin MacKenzie exposed in more ways than one.

Join Peppiatt as he hilariously plots a path to redemption – save one final rampage through Fleet Street’s gutters.

Peppiatt has appeared twice before the Leveson Inquiry, his searing testimonies making headlines around the world. Since his hilariously withering resignation letter to Daily Star proprietor Richard Desmond became a viral sensation last year, Peppiatt’s brutal honesty has made him a regular tabloid commentator on TV and radio.

‘Breathtaking… Fleet street’s very own angel of vengeance.’ Guardian

‘Scabrous and highly entertaining… a demolition job with jokes.’ Independent

‘Devilishly devious.’ Scotsman

‘Peppiatt has charm, wit and an ear for comedy – and, jokes apart, this is an important show.’ The Telegraph

‘Hilarious, brave and strangely arousing.’ Hugh Grant

PAUL CHOWDHRY is one of Britain’s top stand-up comedy talents. He headlined the recent Channel 4 series STAND UP FOR THE WEEK and in May will perform at the O2 Arena alongside comedy legends Jo Brand, Lee Evans and Michael McIntyre.

“Hugely likeable” according to Time Out, SUZI RUFFELL brings an infectious energy and confidence to her jokes, which in a very short time have established her as rising star.

DAPHNA BARAM comes to stand-up from a background in law and journalism which she mines to hilarious effect.

Frenemies entertain the Frontline Club http://www.beta.frontlineclub.com/frenemies_entertain_the_frontline_club/ http://www.beta.frontlineclub.com/frenemies_entertain_the_frontline_club/#respond Fri, 27 Jan 2012 06:43:46 +0000 http://www.beta.frontlineclub.com/dev/frenemies_entertain_the_frontline_club/ By Will Turvill

A crowd gathered at the Frontline Club last night for a humour-filled evening hosted by comedian Katerina Vrana, who stood alongside jesting journalist Miss D (Daphna Baram) and Peyvand Khorsandi.

katrina01.jpg

In an exclusive preview of the stand-up show Frenemies, controversy and laughter were coupled throughout.

daphna01.jpg

With an Israeli Miss D and an Iranian Khorsandi, the onus was clearly on Vrana, to maintain a civil, friendly and politically-correct atmosphere. Clearly, though, this was not a possibility or her objective.
